1. Always make sure that you eat right amount of food while, you are consuming alcohol.Once you are hung over, try to grab food stuff that contain good amount of starch and fructose. Starch and fructose helps to burn the alcohol quickly. Eat when you are drinking as, food absorbs alcohol.

2. Eat food items like honey muffin, salted crackers, fruit salad, multi grain cereals clubbed with different berries, and yogurt to overcome hangovers

3. rink plenty of water throughout the session. Drinking ample amount of water will help in alleviating hangovers.Consume plenty of water before having any alcohol. Even drink after you have drunk. It quickly flushes out all alcohol from the body. Water helps in hydrating the body and revitalizes your body. Fruit juice is the best way to fight against dehydration and hangovers. They are excellent source of fructose, thus keep sipping fruit juices.

4. Coffee may be considered as energy drink, but it is worse for hangovers. Coffee also triggers dehydration in the body. Thus, it is better to keep away coffee.

5. Lime water is also best remedy for hangovers. Sip warm lime water sweeten with honey that will provide sufficient amount of energy and nutrition to the body.

6. Try to grab food item that contain good amount of vitamin C. Fruits like orange, strawberry, raspberry, blue berry, and kiwi are excellent source of vitamin C. Consume this fruits or simple just drink juice of these fruits.

7. Ginger is also good to bring down hangover. Sip ginger tea or simply chew ginger pieces to cure hangovers. Even peppermint herb is considered beneficial to cure hangover effects.

You may chew the leaves of peppermint or drink peppermint tea. Peppermint is also good stress reliever. Apart from these home remedies, you may also have hot water bath or cold compressor on your forehead to mellow down the intensity of headaches.
